Taxi delivers with best wine list
Taxi Dining Room, a well-renowned restaurant located at Federation Square in Melbourne, has taken out the top prizes at the Wine List of the Year Awards held in Sydney last night.
Taxi claimed the honour of Australia’s Best Wine List as well as having Lincoln Riley take out the Sommelier of the Year prize. The awards, established in 1994, are designed to reward restaurants with the best wine lists around Australia.
The winner of the Australian Wine List of the Year Award receives two return airline tickets to Europe. Within their private holiday arrangements and according to their time and interest, introductions can be arranged for private visits and tastings at some of the world’s most famous wine and spirit houses such as Champagne’s Bollinger.
