Slim Secrets wins award for “Best Start Up Product”
Slim Secrets has taken out the award for Best Start Up product (brand) at the inaugural SmartCompany Crown Lager Business Start up Awards, held recently at Melbourne’s Crown Casino. The manufacturer of healthy snack bars also ranked 22nd in the fastest growing start up list.
Slim Secrets founder and director Sharon Thurin said the awards were a major win for Slim Secrets as a new product range and also as a young up-and-coming business.
“It’s fantastic that a company such as Smart Company have recognised Slim Secrets products and brand as one of Excellence with potential for substantial future growth. We found a niche in the healthy snack market and the potential for growth is very exciting,” she said.
The awards attracted hundreds of entries from companies all over Australia and highlight how start up entrepreneurs has been able to defy difficult economic conditions to produce strong growth.
“The success is beyond our wildest dreams and inspires us to find new and healthy snack alternatives in the future,” Sharon added. “We currently also export to many countries around the world and our aim is to grow Slim Secrets into a well recognised global brand.”
