Boost to list on ASX?

Boost Juice Bars is contemplating a public float in Australia, although it remains nothing more than a possibility at this stage.

The largest smoothie chain in the country has been one of the biggest retail success stories of the past decade and Director and Founder Janine Allis has said that they are looking at a range of opportunities, including a listing on the ASX.

”We’ve seriously thought about floating. The likelihood is probably quite slim but you have to consider this for your business,” Ms Allis told The Age’s BusinessDay. “We constantly go, ‘Where is the step that we can take to grow to the next level?’ We can float, we can get private equity money in, we can borrow from the bank, we’re constantly thinking about that.”

She added that the company saw profits surge around 30 per cent last year and they are expecting further growth of beyond 20 per cent in the current financial year.
