Australian Food News ‘malware’ notification

Posted by Janice Wong on 3rd March 2010

Over the last 24 hours some readers may have had a ‘malware’ notification pop up on their screen whilst accessing the Australian Food News website.

Our technical investigations point to the strong likelihood that Google Ads may have placed an advertisement linking to a third party website containing suspicious content and thus some internet browsers have flagged our website with malware warnings. After thorough investigations our technical department can find no malware or other contamination on the AFN website and advise that browsing our website appears to be completely safe. We have blocked the suspect Google ad & advised Google of the notification problem and we are now in Google’s hands to remove the warning notice.

Australian Food News apologises for any concerns and hopes you will continue to read Australian Food News daily for your updates on important issues in the food industry.
