As part of the build up to the much anticipated Western Bulldogs vs Port Adelaide AFL clash, players such as Adam Cooney and Warren Tredea will be signing autographs at selected Coles stores on Friday 16 July.

Coles Regional Manager for the Northern Territory Michael Borg said the fans of all ages will be able to meet some of the competitions’ stars by visiting Coles stores in Palmerston, Casuarina, Northlakes and Mitchell Centre.

“We’re delighted to be offering our customers an opportunity to meet some of their footy idols and thank the players for volunteering their time.

“The Territory has a rich Australian rules history and several Territorians are expected to be taking to the field on Saturday. We can’t wait for footy to return to the Top End and are even more excited that our stores will house some of these stars,” Mr Borg said.

Daniel Cross and Ryan Griffen from the Western Bulldogs will be appearing at:

  •  Coles Palmerston between 12pm and 12.30pm
  •  Coles Northlakes between 1pm and 1.30pm

Brian Lake and Adam Cooney from the Western Bulldogs, and Michael Pettigrew and Warren
Tredea from Port Adelaide will be appearing at:

  • Coles Casuarina between 12pm and 12.30pm
  • Coles Mitchell Centre between 1pm and 1.30pm

Coles is proud to assist bringing top-level Australian Rules Football to Darwin through its sponsorship of Saturday night’s clash, and further support grassroots development as an official community partner of AFLNT.

“We just love our footy up here so it’s fantastic that we can support it at all levels” Mr Borg concluded.
