Food recall: Maggie Beer Chicken Stock
- August 5, 2010
Maggie Beer Products announced yesterday that they are conducting a consumer level recall of 500ml pouches of Maggie Beer Chicken Stock with a Best Before date of June 3rd due to the presence of food poisoning bacterium Clostridium perfringens.
While no cases of illness or injury have been associated with this product, any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice. Symptoms of Clostridium perfringens poisoning include diarrhoea and nausea for one day or less.
If consumers still have any of the affected product, they should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
