Cherry Ripe special edition: Cherry Roll
Cadbury Australia has released a special edition of Australia’s oldest chocolate bar, the Cherry Ripe.
The new Cherry Roll is a 50g chocolate bar, described by Cadbury as ‘Ripe Juicy Cherries and Coconut all dipped in Old Gold® Rich Dark Chocolate, sprinkled with Coconut’, contains whole glace cherries and is covered in coconut.
Retail outlets will compete to use advertising materials to creatively display the Cherry Ripe and Cherry Ripe Cherry Roll products in their store, with the winner receiving a trip for two to Uluru.
Wholesalers who achieve the greatest percentage uplift in sales of Cherry Ripe brand bars in the months of August and September 2010 (against August and September 2009) will be eligible for cash prizes of $10,000 (for wholesalers with over $1 million in retail sales) or $5000 (under $1 million in retail sales).
