Golden Circle awarded Best in Show
Golden Circle was last night awarded Best in Show at the annual Australian Packaging Awards.
Organised by the Packaging Council of Australia, the Awards celebrate inspiration and creation in the Australian packaging industry. Best in Show is selected from of the Gold Award winning entries across all of the categories.
Judges commented that the entry demonstrated excellence in functionality, aesthetics and innovation. “Its simple, beautiful form is perfectly matched to its function… Its novelty, symmetry and beauty make this a stand-out success in the market-place and a very deserving winner,” they said.
Golden Circle’s new chilled juice bottle brings a fresh solution to the chilled juice category with a design that stands alone among its peers.
General Manager Research and Development Jonathan Middis said “we believe packaging should speak directly to the consumer, while adding value for our customers and for our business.”
“With our new chilled juice bottle, the centrally located handle with its purposefully designed contours encourages intuitive grip for an easy lift off shelf. It also provides a lower centre of gravity for better balance when pouring, right through to the last drop.”
With the handle sitting high on the bottle, a generous brand area also enables clear communication of the product’s preservative free positioning, and provides a strikingly fresh on-shelf presence.
“The simple and clean balanced aesthetic of our new bottle is unique to the category and we’re delighted to have been recognised with this Award,” Mr Middis said.
