New weight management program launches exclusively in Woolworths
New wellness company MyWhey has partnered exclusively with Woolworths to bring Australians an evidence-based weight management program. Formulated by leading medical experts and using a unique combination of natural ingredients, the MyWhey program provides consumers with an optimal weight management formulated meal replacement using the highest quality organic whey protein isolate available in Australia.
A number of the clinicians involved in the formulation process have formed a special advisory panel to provide ethical guidance and ensure the MyWhey program is medically sound. “This is an exciting weight management program introduction that will really make a difference to the health and wellbeing of thousands of Australians,” said Stephen Smyth, managing director of MyWhey.
Exclusive to the MyWhey program is the personalised Health Assessment and Risk Factor Assessment Report which has been designed by leading medical expert Dr. Mark Donohoe. “This medically proven health assessment survey will provide consumers with important information for assessing their current health and uncovering any future health risks. It provides a unique level of support for those who find it difficult to stick to a program on their own,” said Dr. Donohoe.
According to Dr Donohoe whey protein isolate is the purest form of edible protein available. With little to no fat or carbohydrates, it is unsurpassed as a source of the essential amino acids required in the daily diet. Most importantly, high quality whey protein is rich in leucine to help preserve lean muscle tissue while promoting fat loss.
MyWhey also contains Green Tea extract. Green Tea is made from the unfermented leaves of the camellia sinensis bush, and contains large amounts of catechins – powerful antioxidants responsible for the many health benefits of Green Tea.
MyWhey is available in a range of flavours including Chocolate, Café Latte and Vanilla to add variety to the weight management program. Packs contain 14 sachets designed to replace two meals per day as either an instant skim milk protein drink or MyWhey fruit smoothie.
The weekly pack retails for $47.95 and is available in the health food aisle of all Woolworths stores nationally.
