Food Service Expo features World Chocolate Masters Australian qualifier
Australia’s most talented chocolatiers and pastry chefs will descend on the Foodservice Expo on 27-29 May, 2012 at Moore Park, Sydney to compete for a spot in a prestigious World Chocolate Masters competition.
The World Chocolate Masters, an initiative by Cacao Barry and Callebaut Chocolate, is the world’s premier culinary competition devoted solely to the art of chocolate. During the Australian Qualifier, the talented pastry chefs will go head-to-head as they create a range of chocolate masterpieces.
The competition will be held on Sunday 27 May, 2012 at the Foodservice Australia expo in Sydney. It will be the first time foodservice professionals will be able to witness all the action and amazing talents displayed by the contestants, as they battle it out for the most prestigious title in the chocolate industry.
Foodservice Australia Expo is to feature some 100 exhibitors covering all aspects of the foodservice industry including food, drink, and equipment and – of course – chocolate. Exhibitors include Lindt, Cadbury, Ferrero Rocher and Callebaut.
The expo really will be the centre of the chocolate universe for the six finalists selected to compete in this national final. They will be vying for the opportunity to represent Australia at the World Final – emulating Seung Yun Lee, who secured fourth place for Australia in the World Chocolate Masters in Paris in 2011.
