Domino’s Australian campaign lets Facebook users create ‘Social Pizza’
Multi-national pizza chain, Domino’s, has launched a new social media campaign in Australia, which allows Facebook users to create a new pizza, which it will introduce to its Australian menu.
Domino’s is promoting the social media stunt as the “world’s first social media pizza”.
The pizza chain has created a ‘Social Pizza’ application on Facebook which allows its 480,000 Australian Facebook ‘fans’ to build a custom-made pizza creation for the Domino’s Menu by voting on their favourite crust, sauce and ingredients.
The campaign was launched yesterday and will run until Sunday 25 March 2012. The most popular selection each day will be added to the pizza.
After the pizza recipe has been created, Domino’s Facebook fans will have the chance to win AU$1,000 by naming the new pizza.
