Coles launches new version of mobile phone app with personalised specials
Australian supermarket group Coles has launched a new version of its mobile phone app, with the latest update allowing shoppers to view current catalogue specials on products that they would normally buy, and at the same time see just how much they can save.
Coles said the new app, which is part of a wider ‘Celebrate Specials’ campaign, was designed to help customers ‘pocket the savings’.
Users can add items to their shopping list, and can also create a ‘My Favourite Products’ list. As soon as any of these selected ‘favourites’ go on special, they are highlighted in a personalised ‘My Specials’ feed.
The new app will also allow customers to register their flybuys loyalty card within the app, giving them personalised specials based on their shopping history.
“We know Australians love using their smartphones for shopping and this latest update is an even better way Coles delivers more value to Australian customers every day,” said Mat Medcalf Coles Senior Digital Marketing Manager. “Adding more personalised features to the app allows shoppers to easily access their favourite products they purchase on a regular basis, and be notified as soon as they go on special,” he said.
This latest update to the Coles app is now available to download through Apple iTunes for use on the iPhone.
