Chris’ Dips launches new ‘wholefoods’ dips range with Health Star Ratings
Melbourne-based dip and gourmet food manufacturer Chris’ Dips has launched a new range of premium dips, which the Company said are “made from nutrient-dense wholefoods” with “premium spices and superfood ingredients”.
The Company said each of the four flavours is “low in saturated fat” and displays its health star rating on the packaging.
The Company said its Down 2 Earth dips range is “made locally from the best quality, fresh ingredients”, and was developed in consultation with chef and nutritionist Samantha Gowing.
Chris’ Dips, founded in 1982 by Christos Tassios, produces dips and yoghurts. The Company began selling dips in a small store in Prahran in Victoria and now sells its products in Woolworths supermarkets and selected independent supermarkets.
Chris’ Dips said the flavour combinations were “inspired by culinary cultures the world over”. They include Sweet Potato & Harissa Hommus; Spiced Roasted Carrot & Turmeric; Mexican Style Bean & Corn Salsa and Japanese Style Eggplant & Miso.
“The consumer demand for clean flavours and transparency of ingredients has never been so great,” Ms Gowing said.
“The Down 2 Earth range delivers a delicious, fresh take on current health trends,” Ms Gowing said. “It delivers a unique vertical wellness offering that is an authentic, handcrafted blend of favourites with a contemporary health twist that is sure to delight Chris’ fans and entice new devotees to the plentiful range,” she said.
