SupermarketWoolworths is replacing its ‘Cheap Cheap’ marketing campaign with a new campaign taglined ‘Always at Woolworths’.

The new campaign marks a change in direction with Woolworths driving the message that it is not just lowering prices but will always be price competitive.

One of the new commercials features a family eating pasta and the line ‘At Woolworths we know Tuesday night is always pasta night’  before promoting its Dolmio pasta sauce as being always available for $2.

Another features a man searching for some bread with the line ‘At Woolworths we know there is never enough’ prior to advising Helga’s Bread as being always available for $3.50 a loaf.

Woolworth’s previous Cheap Cheap campaign concentrated on price reductions and included two cartoon birds along with Australian singer Samantha Jade.

The supermarket has now removed all Cheap Cheap advertisements from its YouTube channel.

‘Always at Woolworths’ comes as Woolworths Limited continues to search for a new CEO to replace the outgoing ‘Grant O’Brien’.
