McCain’s launches new frozen pizza range
McCain Foods is now selling a takeaway inspired frozen pizza range in Australian supermarkets.
The pizzas are made with stone-baked crusts and is described as a premium frozen pizza.
Marketing Manager at McCain’s Foods Australia New Zealand, Katrina Wilson, said McCain wants to create the taste of takeaway without consumers having to leave the house or order-in.
“Ideal for sharing, Takeaway removes the hassle of ordering and waiting while delivering a delicious piping hot pizza, straight from the oven,” said Wilson.

- Spicy Chorizo
- Aussie BBQ Chicken and Bacon
The launch of the range will be supported with a new television advertising campaign. In the 15 and 30 second advertisements McCains will show consumers blind taste testing its pizza and actual takeaway pizza before being asked which option they prefer.
McCain Foods takeaway pizza range is available now at selected Coles, Woolworths and IGA supermarkets. The recommended retail price is AUD$8.49.
