Herbert Adams gourmet pies launched in Woolworths
A range of “slow-cooked” Herbert Adams pies has been launched at Woolworths supermarkets.
The pies are sold in single-serve portions as a gourmet food. Patties Foods, owner of the Herbert Adams brand, says the pie fillings are cooked for 6-8 hours.
The range includes a choice of different ingredients such as chunky beef, chunky beef and mushroom, lamb and rosemary, smoky pulled pork, and chicken leek and camembert cheese.
Patties Foods Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Steven Chaur, says the pies are of café quality.
“The Herbert Adams brand has over 100 years of baking heritage and it’s great to build on those credentials with a premium, gourmet range in the Bakery section of the supermarket,” he said.
Herbert Adams Slow Cooked Pies can be found in the bakery section at Woolworths supermarkets Australia-wide. The recommended retail price for a single-serve pie is AUD $4.99.
