Australians want to work for Coles, LinkedIn data
Coles has come fourth in a LinkedIn data list naming the top 25 Australian companies best at attracting and retaining top talent.
The top position went to accounting firm, KPMG, however Coles was the highest ranking company in the food and beverage industry.
Lion beverages made in in the top ten, ranking 8th position, and Woolworths supermarkets just made the list coming in 24th place.
No other businesses within the food and beverage industry made the list.
LinkedIn also published lists for other countries including the US, UK, France and India.
For the US, LinkedIn has published a top 40 list with Google taking out number one position.
Coca-Cola and Starbucks were the only food and beverage companies to make the US list, coming in at 20th and 31st respectively.
No food and beverage companies made the UK or France’s top lists but food delivery company, Zomato, came 25th on India’s list.
The lists were based entirely off the actions of LinkedIn users. LinkedIn analysed various data to come up with a blended ranking score.
