Smith’s Chips launches Hot Wing chips as Australian tastes evolve
Smith’s Chips is now selling ‘Hot Wings’ flavoured chips through Coles supermarkets.
The chips have a spicy chicken taste and are described as having “serious heat”.
Senior Marketing Manager at Smith’s, Sheri Juchau, said the chips have been released just in time for the football finals season.
“Aussie’s tastes are continually evolving and the team of flavour experts at Smith’s regularly evaluate these new flavour trends to ensure Smith’s continues to be one of Australia’s most loved brands,” said Juchau.
The chips are available now at Coles supermarkets in 170g servings. The launch of the product will be supported through digital and social media marketing activities along with catalogue and in-store advertising.
Smith’s Chips is owned by Pepsi Co Australia and New Zealand. This latest release follows on from Smith’s Duos which hit Australian supermarkets April 2016.
