FoodLegal workshops announced for Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney
FoodLegal will be hosting three new workshops in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in August and September 2016.
1.The Brisbane half-day workshop is ‘Clean-est Labelling and Marketing Strategies’ and will be held on Wednesday 31 August 2016, 8:30am – 1:00pm.
2. The half-day FoodLegal Health Claims workshop will be held in Melbourne on Tuesday 20 September 2016, 8:30am – 1:00pm and in Sydney on Tuesday 27th September, 12:45pm – 5:00pm.
1.‘Clean-est Labelling and Marketing Strategies’ – Brisbane
With enormous pressure placed on food product suppliers and retailers to present products as natural as possible, the Brisbane workshop will explore how ingredients and substances are required to be declared on labelling.
It will focus on food labelling obligations under the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code and explores how these can be navigated to present the cleanest version of a product – without misleading or deceiving consumers in breach of the Australian Consumer Law.
Charles Fisher, a FoodLegal compliance expert, will show how to develop, market and sell your products using clean labelling strategies.
The workshop is brought to Brisbane in conjunction with Osborne Richardson, recruiters for the food manufacturing industry.
2. FoodLegal Health Claims Workshop – Melbourne and Sydney
FoodLegal’s ‘Harnessing the new Health Claims Standard: Opportunities in marketing the healthy angle of foods’ will be presented by FoodLegal’s compliance expert Charles Fisher who will show participants how to optimise the commercial opportunities from the new Health claims Standard 1.2.7 whilst minimising the legal risks and learning how best to market the healthiness your products.
