Messina partners with Arnott’s for new Tim Tam range
Arnott’s and Messina Gelato have teamed up to create an ice cream inspired Tim Tam range.
The four flavours in the range include:
- Choc Mint
- Salted Caramel and Vanilla
- Coconut and Lychee
- Black Forest
Messina said the collaboration came about after they received an email in 2015 from Arnott’s.
“To be completely honest, we thought they were telling us to stop making one of our specials called ‘Tim Tam Slam’,” Messina wrote on their website.
“Instead, they wanted to talk to us about co-creating a range of ACTUAL Tim Tams with them. And who would say no to that!”
Extensive testing and trialing went into creating the range over the space of a year.
It is not the first time Arnott’s has worked with a third party to release a new range of Tim Tams, the company has previously worked with celerity dessert chef Adriano Zumbo.
Arnott’s has also released numerous different flavour ranges of Tim Tams in the past several years including mocktail, coffee and pineapple.
