Still time to join FoodLegal marketing workshops

Posted by AFN Advertorial on 8th March 2017

There is still time to register for both Sydney and Melbourne FoodLegal “Sign-off and Take-off” food marketing workshops in Melbourne and Sydney for March 2017.

The “Sign-off and Take-off” workshops will address marketing compliance issues, laws and common blunders that arise under the Australian Consumer Law.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has recently been targeting health claims made by food products. Action may be taken even if the product is completely compliant with the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.

Such action was recently taken against Heinz and Unilever.

Presented by FoodLegal compliance expert Charles Fisher, the workshops will help food companies identify risks and opportunities in their marketing, and will provide lessons on how to stand out while minimising the danger of regulatory action.

There are still places available in the second Sydney session on Friday 24 March 2017 and for the Melbourne session on Wednesday 15 March 2017.
