Legendary rugby league figure launches his own brand of meats & sauces
Rugby league player, captain and coach Mal Meninga AM has launched a new range of premium meats and sauces.
The ‘Big Mal’s First Grade’ range will be sold at IGA Supermarkets in Queensland and New South Wales this summer.
‘Big Mal’s First Grade’ meat products consist of beef sausages, burgers, sliders and meatballs.
His four premium sauces and condiments are Tomato legend, BBQ Sauced, Chilli Kick and Outback Ranch.
All of Meninga’s products are gluten-free.

A passion for food is what drove Meninga to create this range, in collaboration with Peppercorn Foods and The Food Company.
“Family, footy and food on the barbeque are my passions,” Meninga said.
“Big Mal’s First Grade products are Australian made, with Australian ingredients, for all Australians,” he said.
Mal Meninga is the current head coach of the Kangaroos, the Australian rugby league team.
He captained the Kangaroos for 23 test matches and is one of the most accomplished players and coaches in rugby league history.
