White Wings now selling “Better For You” flour
White Wings' new Wholesome Blend Plain Flour
White Wings has launched a health focused flour range including coconut flour and blended mixes with millet and oat.
The new range from White Wings includes:
- ‘Wholesome Blend Plain Flour’ including wheat, millet, oat and coconut flour (RRP $3.49 for a 500g serve)
- ‘Wholesome Blend Self-Raising Flour’ including wheat, millet, oat and coconut flour (RRP $3.49 for a 500g serve)
- Coconut flour made from 100 per cent coconut (RRP $4.19 for a 300g serve)
White Wings says the new flours are targeted at “home bakers seeking healthier options, but without compromising the taste and texture of their creations.”
Both the Blend Plain Flour and Blend Self-Raising Flour can be swapped cup for cup with regular flour without changing the result of what is being baked.
Nutritionist Jacqueline Alwill has created four recipes for the White Wings website using the new flour products.
“I wanted to create a series of recipes that show you how you can easily make baking more wholesome,” Alwill said.
“I love how simple and easy it is to incorporate the Wholesome Blend flours just by swapping your regular cup for cup with no other adjustments needed to cooking times or other ingredients.
“The best thing is that your cakes turn out just as delicious but a little more nutritious.”
White Wing’s Better For You range is available now at Woolworths supermarkets and independent supermarkets across Australia.
