New Gnocchi range from San Remo hits the shelves
San Remo is launching a new shelf stable Gnocchi Range this
month – comprising both ‘traditional’ and ‘gluten-free’ varieties of the Italian dumpling style pasta. Easily prepared in just two minutes, this soon to be family favourite is versatile, tasty, and is vegan friendly.
Gnocchi is a crowd favourite that has a soft spot in Australian hearts, a pasta dish that can be an art form to create from scratch at home. The new San Remo range makes for quick preparation and has the versatility to complement a variety of red and white sauces or with simple, fresh ingredients and herbs.
The launch of the gnocchi range follows San Remo’s recent Ready Pasta collection that launched earlier this year and offers customers a further alternative option to its dry and fresh pasta range.
San Remo has a long-standing history and reputation for producing premium products which evoke an authentically-Italian dining experience. This dedication to quality has resulted in this newest range, featuring the traditional potato variety of gnocchi, along with the alternative gluten free product, developed to appeal to those who are coeliac or pursuing a gluten free diet, meaning everyone can enjoy the range.
Chief Marketing Officer, San Remo, Erik de Roos comments, “We’re excited to launch our shelfstable gnocchi range, providing something a little bit different to our portfolio of pasta products. Gnocchi has historically been a niche product appealing primarily to Australians with Italian heritage but it’s becoming increasingly popular in all households. This range underwent significant research and development resulting in this delicious, fluffy dumpling that can be partnered with a fresh, simple sauce or dressed up for a more adventurous meal.”
The range is available in independent supermarkets in Australia with an RRP of $2.99 for the Traditional range and RRP of $5.50 for the Gluten Free alternative.
Since inception in 1936, San Remo remains a 100 percent Australian family owned business and combines Italian tradition with modern technology to adhere to its high standards of quality and integrity.
