CCA cider deal a winner in tougher times

Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) has announced an anticipated growth of 4-5 per cent growth in net profit for 2012, 2-3 per cent below what analysts had predicted. Drinking culture patterns revealed in Australia by 2 separate reports

Two reports by Deakin University and the Cancer Council Victoria respectively have made separate findings on alcoholic drinking patterns in Australia. Dutch study reports alcohol and energy drink combinations reduce alcohol consumption

A new Dutch study has compared alcohol consumption alone against alcohol mixed with energy drinks and has purportedly found that alcohol and energy drink combinations decrease overall alcohol consumption and its negative effects. One licensed Liquor venue for every 317 Australian people, Flinders University research finds

Researchers at the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA) at Flinders University in Adelaide have found that there is currently one liquor licence for every 317 people in Australia that can legally drink. Coca-Cola Amatil releases interim 2012 results

Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) ‘s Interim Results issued on 22 August 2012 reveal net profit after tax increased by 5.6% to $247.1 million, before significant items.  CCA also reported that trading revenue increased by 8.9% on strong Group volume growth of 5.5%.
