Australian supermarket shoppers continue to rank Aldi as top in providing customer satisfaction out of all the Australian supermarkets. This is according to the latest survey findings from the Australian market research company Roy Morgan. The latest figures from consumer research company Roy Morgan show customer satisfaction in Australia remains highest among Aldi’s patrons by a wide margin, followed by Coles and IGA, with Woolworths dropping to last place. Comfort foods provide satisfaction amidst gloom

The recession has boosted the satisfaction rating of manufacturers that produce comfort foods such as chocolate, the American Consumer Satisfaction Index revealed today (17 November). While ketchup maker Heinz topped the list for the tenth year running with the highest level of consumer satisfaction at 89%, confectioners were among the biggest gainers. Woolworths was the only major supermarket in Australia to see their customer satisfaction levels rise in the six-months to August, according to the latest Roy Morgan Supermarket Satisfaction Report.
