A new survey has indicated growing skepticism of the major grocery chains, with Consumer Affairs Minister Craig Emerson today indicating he was hopeful the proliferation of Aldi stores and the introduction of Costco will shake up the sector. Customer satisfaction with all four major supermarkets (IGA, Coles, Woolworths and Aldi) fell in April, although the gaps between the four have closed over the last six months, according to the latest Roy Morgan Supermarket Satisfaction Report.
