Australian supermarket shoppers continue to rank Aldi as top in providing customer satisfaction out of all the Australian supermarkets. Kiss Kiss Food Products Pty Ltd has recalled all varieties of Kiss Kiss Pastizzi baked goods from independent supermarkets in Western Australia due to undeclared soy. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has applied to the Federal Court for an interim injunction restraining Metcash’s proposed acquisition of the Franklins supermarket chain. The Federal Court of Australia today dismissed an application by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) which sought to prevent Australian wholesale distribution and marketing company Metcash from acquiring the Franklins chain of supermarkets from its South African owners, Pick ‘n Pay Retailers. The Roy Morgan February Supermarket Satisfaction Report has shown an underwhelming month of satisfaction results at all four of the major supermarkets, with none showing an increase.
