US organic food enforcement slammed

JBS to acquire Rockdale Beef

Brazilian meat giant JBS has entered into an agreement to acquire Rockdale Beef through its subsidiary Swift Australia. When contacted the company declined to reveal the financial details of the deal.  However, a spokesperson said that the acquisition would boost JBS’s beef capacity to supply operations in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
