Woolworths recalls batch of milk

Woolworths has recalled a batch of their 2-litre private label milk in Victoria and parts of New South Wales due to possible microbiological contamination.

“The manufacturer National Foods and Woolworths Limited wish to advise customers that they are conducting a voluntary consumer level recall on the above product due to an important product safety issue,” they advised in a statement. “Woolworths Fresh Milk Lite 2L is being recalled as a precautionary measure. Routine testing has detected possible microbiological contamination.”

The recall only applies to the below-listed product with the exact use-by date, with no other products impacted. It affects all stores in Victoria and the following stores in NSW and the ACT:

DICKSON, QUEANBEYAN, WODEN, COOMA, YOUNG, CALWELL, MAWSON, BELCONNEN, GRIFFITH, WESTON CREEK, KAMBAH, COOTAMUNDRA, TUGGERANONG, GOULBURN, ERINDALE, WAGGA WAGGA, NORTH, TEMORA, KIPPAX, CONDER, GUNGAHLIN, KOORINGAL, LEETON, YASS, TUMUT, CHARNWOOD, JINDABYNE, JERRABOMBERRA, ALBURY, COROWA, LAVINGTON, MOAMA
