Brumby’s Bakery creates new ‘gourmet’ Hot Cross Buns range
Brumby’s Bakery is offering five new gourmet Hot Cross Bun varieties this Easter.
The five Hot Cross Bun varieties are:
- Chocolate caramel
- Jaffa
- Date and vanilla chocolate
- Date and ginger
- Berry and white chocolate
The new Hot Cross Bun range is available in store now until Easter Sunday 16 April 2017.
This year Brumby’s Bakery is donating 25 cents from every six-pack of hot cross buns sold between 1 April to 17 April 2017 to The Smith Family.
Brand Manager at Brumby’s, Tom Elliott, said each Easter Brumby’s sells well over two million hot cross buns. He said he hopes this will equate in a significant sum of money being donated to The Smith Family.
“With this partnership, we are hoping that our customers will help us to really make a difference in the lives of thousands of children and young people living in poverty in Australia,” he said.
Brumby’s Bakery has been operational within Australia since 1975 and is part of the Retail Food Group (RFG).
The recommended retail price for a pack of six hot cross buns is AUD $8.50.
