Nat Foods’ Berri operation up-and-running again
The Berri juice factory is back in operation after vandals caused a temporary closure of the plant last week.
National Foods has reported the damage bill left by vandals – who smashed computers and emptied containers full of thousands of litres of juice – stood at around half-a-million dollars.
An official at the plant in the Riverland of South Australia, Geoff Lynch, hopes the company can begin bottling again sometime this week.
He told the ABC that workers would phase-in production as soon as possible, while damaged equipment continues to be repaired.
