Patties announces new addition to their Board
Patties Foods has today announced the appointment of John Schmoll as an independent, non-executive director of the company. The move, effective immediately, will also see him assume the role of chairman of the audit committee.
“John brings to the Board a distinguished executive career, culminating in his role as Chief Financial Officer of Coles Myer Ltd until his retirement in 2002,” Chairman, Chris Riordan, said.
Mr Schmoll is currently Chairman of Breville Group Ltd and, since 2005, a non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee of Oroton Group Ltd and AWB Ltd. Previously, he has served as a non-executive director and chairman of the audit committee of Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group Ltd, Golden Circle Ltd and Chandler Macleod Ltd.
Mr Riordan also announced the appointment of current non-executive director, Mr Curt Leonard, as Deputy Chairman of the Board.
