Nestlé Nutrition head steps down
Richard Laube, Executive Vice President in charge of Nestlé Nutrition, has decided to pursue personal opportunities outside Nestlé and is therefore leaving the company with immediate effect.During his five years at Nestlé, Mr. Laube first held the position of Head of Business Development before taking up his responsibilities as Head of Nestlé Nutrition. Under his tenure, Nestlé Nutrition grew substantially, not least as a result of the acquisitions of Jenny Craig, Novartis Medical Nutrition and the Gerber Baby Food Company, which were successfully integrated into the company. During this time, Nestlé Nutrition’s different businesses also developed into prominent positions in their respective markets.
Nestlé CEO Paul Bulcke: “We respect Mr. Laube’s decision, thank him for his valuable contribution during his time at Nestlé and wish him all the best for the future.”
Nestlé has asked Nandu Nandkishore, Nestlé Nutrition’s Global Business Head of Infant Nutrition, to take ad interim responsibility for Nestlé Nutrition, effective today. The Board of Directors will take a decision on a permanent appointment to this post in due time.
