Lindt expansion reaches Australia’s national capital

Lindt is expanding its Australian presence, opening a new retail store in Canberra.
The store will be located at the Canberra Outlet Centre and will be operating from 26 August 2016. It will stock the largest selection of Lindor chocolate balls in Australia including exclusive varieties not available elsewhere. The store will also serve beverages.
Chief Executive Officer of Lindt Australia, Stephen Loane, said the company was excited to be expanding into the ACT.
“Following the success of our Chocolate Shops around Australia, we know customers in Canberra will enjoy indulging in our signature chocolate drinks and the wide range of Lindt chocolate products we have on offer,” Loane said.
Lindt already operates eight chocolate cafes and nine chocolate shops across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
The Lindt brand is owned by Lindt and Sprungli which is headquartered in Switzerland. The company was established in 1845.
