‘Pizza Hut shoe’ launched, includes ordering features

Watch out Domino’s, Pizza Hut is also moving into online technologies – at least in North America for now.
Available in the US only, Pizza Hut has launched 64 pairs of shoes which include a button that allows customers to order a pizza.
The shoe uses Bluetooth to connect with Pizza Hut’s online ordering system and lets the store know exactly where to deliver the pizza.
It is expected all 64 pairs of the shoes will be distributed to celebrities and athletes only as part of a promotional campaign for Pizza Hut.
The shoes were designed in conjunction with creative agency, Droga5 and shoe maker, Dominic Chambrone.
Back in Australia, Domino’s continues to invest in innovation, releasing virtual assistant technology to help customers order.
