Smith’s Chips blast from the past

Pepsi Co’s Smith’s is bringing back two old chip flavours back for a limited-time only.
Available now in Australian supermarkets is Smith’s Heinz Tomato Ketchup and Smith’s Bega Cheese.
Marketing Manager at Smith’s, Olivia Sutherland, said the decision to return the chips comes after many requests for customers.
“Heinz Tomato Ketchup and Bega Cheese are two of the flavours which are consistently requested by consumers,” Sutherland said.
“Our research indicated that these nostalgic flavour re-releases are popular with Aussie shoppers and will drive excitement within the snacks category, and help retailers drive incremental sales,” Sutherland stated.
The products are available for a limited-time in Woolworths, Coles, independent retailers and petrol and convenience stores in 80g and 150g serving sizes.
The re-release of the flavours will be supported by a marketing campaign that includes in-store displays, a new12-week TV campaign, 16-weeks of digital display activity, 6 months of cinema sponsorship and ongoing social media support.
