BWS goes into delivery

Woolworths’ BWS has started delivering alcohol in Sydney with plans to expand the service into other Australian cities soon.
‘BWS Quick Delivery’ allows residents allows residents near selected Sydney stores to order drinks online and have them delivered within one hour.
Delivery times include evenings and weekends, a first time offer by one of Australia’s major alcohol retailers.
General Manager of BWS, Guy Brent, said the decision to go into delivery was driven by the knowledge customers are looking for more convenient ways to shop.
“We’ll continue to be delivering exceptional customer service in store whilst leveraging our new delivery platform,” Brent said.
“It’s a powerful combination and one we’re proud to be providing to customers.”
The service will be expanding into other metropolitan areas over the coming months.
