MLA recruits Dame Edna for new ad
Meat and Livestock Australia has released a new television advertisement featuring Dame Edna Everage.
The ad is part of MLA’s “You’re better on beef” campaign and sees Dame Edna encourage Australian women to boost their iron levels with beef.
In the ad Dame Edna addresses Australian women and tells them that one in three are not getting enough iron in their diet. She then suggests eating beef, saying it is the “best source of natural iron”.
The advertisement is the latest MLA commercial to follow on from its annual Australia Day offering which encourages consumers to eat lamb.
