Pitango's new Creamy Smoky Fish Chowder

Pitango has released the first of three new soups for winter.

The latest offering from Pitango is a ‘Creamy Smoky Fish Chowder’, made with Hoki fish, potatoes, corn and chowder sauce.

Pitango General Brands Manager, Alan Lindeque, said Pitango wants to offer its customers something a little different this winter.

“Our incredible chefs in the Pitango Kitchen have been working very hard to create a tasty, healthy and fresh chowder that not only is easy to prepare but will be a satisfying meal on its own or with a side,” Lindeque said.

Pitango’s chowder also plays homage to the soup’s English and French heritage.

“Chowder needs to be authentic and delicious, it is a meal that has been around for hundreds of years and perfected over time,” Lindeque said.

“We needed to stay true to the recipe by ensuring our chowder is packed full of fresh fish, veggies and flavour.”

Pitango Creamy Smoky Chowder is available now in supermarkets across Australia. The recommended retail price is AUD $5.99.
