Vegemite launches new Vegemite Squeezy
Today, iconic Aussie brand VEGEMITE is expanding its range
– announcing the arrival of a new product – VEGEMITE Squeezy! It is VEGEMITE, just squeezier and upside down in a squeezable bottle. If you thought that the limited-edition VEGEKNIFE was the best thing since sliced bread, you will love the convenience of the new VEGEMITE Squeezy.
“We know that Aussies are passionate about their VEGEMITE and here at VEGEMITE, we take a lot of pride in making a range of VEGEMITE products that every Australian can enjoy,” said Matt Gray, Head of Marketing at Bega Foods. “We’re excited to launch VEGEMITE in this new convenient format. It’s the great tasting VEGEMITE you know and love, just easier and squeezier.”
Bega Cheese Limited’s team of VEGEMITE experts have worked hard behind the scenes at the home of
VEGEMITE in Port Melbourne to deliver a great tasting VEGEMITE Squeezy product.

From VEGEMITE and cheese spaghetti to VEGEMITE and cheese scrolls – VEGEMITE creations are popping up in kitchens across Australia. VEGEMITE Squeezy makes VEGEMITE even easier to use and enjoy – VEGEMITE enthusiasts will love the new addition to the VEGEMITE family.”
How do you make anything ‘Taste Like Australia’?
To support the arrival of VEGEMITE Squeezy, VEGEMITE will be launching a new advertising campaign that lets people know how to make anything ‘taste like Australia’. Simply squeeze a little bit of VEGEMITE in your spag, on your snag or your favourite snack.
VEGEMITE Squeezy already has a fan in Aussie tennis ace and lover of VEGEMITE, Ash Barty, who snapped up some of the first VEGEMITE Squeezy samples hot off of the VEGEMITE production line.
What does Barty have to say about VEGEMITE Squeezy?
“I love it! VEGEMITE Squeezy is such a great, convenient product. Especially for someone who enjoys VEGEMITE as much as I do,” said Barty. “VEGEMITE Squeezy makes it easier to put on everything from my toast to my homemade VEGEMITE and cheese scrolls. My house will go through plenty of it.”
is an addition to the VEGEMITE range and is now available in 200g and 350g
packs from a retailer near you. You can find more information on the full
VEGEMITE product range here.
The new ‘VEGEMITE Squeezy’ advertisement will be broadcast on television for the first time next Sunday evening (8 November). The expansion of the VEGEMITE family is just in time for VEGEMITEs 97th birthday.
There aren’t many products or brands that have been embraced in the same style, or with the same amount of love, as the VEGEMITE brand has been. VEGEMITE is in most Australian homes – loved by children, teenagers and adults alike. VEGEMITE celebrates its 97th birthday milestone this month, as the brand continues to play an important role in the lives of Australians. VEGEMITE isn’t just Australian owned and made in Australia; it tastes like Australia. For more information about VEGEMITE, please visit www.vegemite.com.au/heritage/.
