Chobani Australia expands 907g range with two newflavours

Chobani has expanded its 907g multi-serve tub range to include two new flavours, Mango and Passionfruit.
According to the brand, the impact of Covid-19 saw a shift towards larger tub formats in the yoghurt category with people spending more time at home and not needing portable, single serve formats as frequently.
Talking about the Chobani brand specifically, General Manager Sales & Category Julia Clark says it saw “significant growth” in the 907g range during March and April 2020.
“This coincided with most nationwide lockdowns which showed us a correlation between people spending more time at home and enjoying the multi-serve tubs with their family,” she says.
“This trend has continued to remain strong into 2021 and we are excited to bring more variety to this category.”
The Mango and Passionfruit 907g tubs will join the existing range of Plain Low-Fat, Plain Whole Milk, Vanilla Low-Fat and Strawberry Blended Low-Fat Greek Yoghurt.
The new flavours are now available in Coles supermarkets nationwide and select independent retailers.
