Ardmona Whole Peeled Vine Ripened 400g 007CM tinned tomatoes recalled, safety concern
A tinned tomato product produced by SPC Ardmona is being recalled over concerns it may explode when opened.
The recall relates to one batch of Ardmona Whole Peeled Vine Ripened Tomatoes which may have “increased pressure in the can” due to a packaging issue.
SPC Ardmona has warned there is a potential risk of injury and that consumers should dispose of any Ardmona Whole Peeled Vine Ripened Tomatoes 400g tins with the date marking 007CM (7 March 2015).
Consumers can contact SPC Ardmona for a refund.
