Foster’s today announced that their Chief Strategy Officer, David Bortolussi, has resigned to take on the position of Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Pacific Brands, while confectioner Cadbury Australia has appointed its new Marketing Director.

Mr Bortolussi joined Foster’s in 2004 from McKinsey & Company and was appointed to Foster’s Executive Management Team in 2006.

Foster’s CEO, Ian Johnston, said that Bortolussi made a solid contribution at Australia’s largest brewer.

“I would like to personally thank David for his contribution to reshaping Foster’s strategy and performance improvement agenda, and wish him well in his new role,” he stated.

At Cadbury, Amanda Banfield is set to take over the role of Marketing Director, joining after working as head of commercial strategy in the UK. She will take the place of Michael Magee – who announced his resignation in February to take up a position at Kraft.

Ms Banfield will be in charge of their Australian marketing direction, which now only includes confectionery following the separation, and consequent sale, of their beverage business.
