Gourmet Belgian chocolatier to open in Sydney’s international airport
Lagardère Services Asia Pacific has teamed with Belgian Chocolatier Godiva to open its first boutique store in Sydney airport as part of the A$500 million dollar upgrade of Australia’s main international gateway.
The leader in the premium confectionery category, with more than 450 boutiques and shops worldwide, is set to launch the boutique in October 2009, and will be positioned alongside other luxury branded stores in the Forum area of the Terminal.
Luc Mansion, Lagardère Services Asia Pacific’s General Manager – Australia said, “We are delighted to be working with Godiva on the first store to open in Australia. It is the perfect location to embark on this new development at Australia’s busiest airport. Our experience with gourmet foods in the travel retail market has provided us with exceptional knowledge and understanding of this premium gourmet brand.”
