San Remo introduces new Slimmers’ Selection pasta range

Pasta manufacturer San Remo has launched a new Slimmers’ Selection gluten-free pasta range, designed to appeal to health-conscious consumers.
San Remo said the Slimmers’ Selection range has “only 41kJ per serve” and is “low carb and low salt, and does not contain any fat, egg, dairy, gluten, soy or sugar”.
San Remo was founded in 1936 by Luigi Crotti. It remains a privately owned 100 per cent Australian company. The Company was among the first food manufacturers to support and foster supermarket distribution as this way of shopping became established in Australia.
With its manufacturing facilities in Australia, San Remo has offices and distribution centres in all main capital cities throughout Australia and New Zealand, and exports to 35 countries throughout the world. San Remo’s manufacturing site is in Adelaide and its Durum wheat mill is one of the largest in the Australian/South-East Asian region. It was specially designed for the processing of Durum wheat.
San Remo has a wide range of pasta products and sauces and also offers a range of “La Pasta” pasta and sauce side dishes.
