Tandem Trading has a reliable supply of organic berries

Tandem Trading Pty Ltd has been sourcing and importing FROZEN ORGANIC BERRIES from a reliable fully certified grower/packer located in Shandong province, China, for over ten years.

It is because of the thorough microbiological testing of raw material, waters and soil, and full compliance to client’s requirements, Tandem Trading sources and supplies high quality berries for both retail and manufacturing.

The factory has been growing organic berries since 2003. Their field and factory waters are routinely tested with soil testing done annually by a third party laboratory.

Both factory and farms are certified by the German certifier Ecocert; the factory also has the following certifications:

ISO 22000; KOSHER ; BRC ; ECOCERT EUROPE.
Tandem Trading has maintained HACCP certification since 2007.

The factory’s main crops these days are STRAWBERRIES which are TOTEM variety and BLACKBERRIES which are KIOWA variety.

Totem is a strawberry variety bred in British Columbia and is still the main variety in the North West USA. It is well liked for its intense red colour and good flavour.

Kiowa blackberry is a variety released by the University of Nebraska’s breeding programme and is a big bold blackberry.

Currently these two crops are grown on the factory’s two main farm blocks which are about an hour’s drive from the factory located perfectly for “from farm to factory to freezer”.

The factory offers ORGANIC (and conventional) berry products in the following forms:

Diced or sliced
Frozen puree with or without seeds
Freeze dried for cereal use

Outside the products from their own farm, the processing factory can offer organic fruit from other well trusted growers; this enables us to offer raspberries, blueberries and lingonberries.
