Australia Post has released their latest eCommerece report containing some key insights about the Australian online shopping habits. Some of these key insights are:

Shopping frequency
Over 73% of households are buying online

Email Campaigns work!
39% of shoppers reported hearing about sales events by direct email marketing, proving it to be the most effective marketing channel

Next day delivery is on the rise
Next-day deliver has grown by 31.7% year-on-year (YOY), and more than 62% of these are fashion related

Black Friday & Cyber Monday
Black Friday/ Cyber Monday is the biggest week for eCommerece purchases in Australia, up 28.7% YOY
