Nespresso captures the taste of Australian Summer in its new limited edition range of iced coffees
Nespresso is bringing the ultimate Australian poolside summer vibe to Sydney.
Our country’s summer is world-renowned. And so is its unique coffee culture. Combine the two and you get Nespresso’s ‘Taste the Australian Summer’ – a new Limited Edition iced coffee range, perfect to be enjoyed poolside under the summer sun.
To celebrate the launch of the new range, Nespresso is bringing a luxurious poolside oasis to Exchange Place, Barangaroo, in the heart of Sydney’s bustling CBD.
The pop-up poolside experience will be offering full-sized samples of the two new refreshing Limited Edition coffees – Flat White Over Ice and Long Black Over Ice – for free.
For a more indulgent iced coffee, there is the Flat White Over Ice – a blend of darker roasted coffees with bold spice notes and a smooth, creamy texture. Or for a more hipster vibe, inspired by the globally trendsetting Aussie barista culture, try the Long Black Over Ice – a combination of south American and east African coffees known for their fresh, fruity and floral aromatics which have been lightly roasted to keep the vibrant aromas intact, finished with sparkling water.
Both recipes speak to the Australian coffee culture, with the Flat White Over Ice paying homage to a firm local favourite and the Long Black Over Ice being a nod to new upcoming trends and the experimental coffee scene.
To accompany your complimentary coffee, the pavements of Exchange Place will be transformed with a 3D piece of artwork in the form of a pool – so you can grab an Insta-worthy snap as you ‘float’ on the flamingo pool toy. Or alternatively kick-back poolside as you recline in your lounge chair to experience that moment of chill.
If you are a Nespresso club member, access the dedicated VIP area for a personalised recipe demonstration with Nespresso Coffee Ambassador, Mitch Monaghan. Along with mastering the iced coffee recipes, you can learn all the tricks of the trade and get top tips from the experts.
Nespresso’s Taste the Australian Summer experience is popping up at Exchange Place, Barangaroo from 7:30am – 4:30pm on Friday 6 December 2019, with complimentary iced coffees given away on a first come, first serve basis.
If you need any more of an incentive, you can also take down your used Nespresso capsules as there will be recycling points available throughout the day.
