Government invites responses to National Food Plan green paper
Australia’s National Food Plan Taskforce has invited public submissions in response to the National Food Plan green paper.
Australia’s first National Food Plan aims to better integrate all aspects of food industry policy.
The green paper discusses a number of options and potential directions that could be adopted by the Australian government. The Australian government is seeking feedback on these and other ideas to complete its white paper food report.
How one can participate
Public consultation on the green paper will continue until 30 September 2012. The public can participate by:
- attending one of 24 public meetings held around Australia
- sending in a written submission
- participating in online discussion on the National Food Plan blog and following them on twitter at @NatFoodPlan.
More information on how you can provide feedback on the green paper is available at Stakeholder Consultation on the green paper.
